Illinois Consolidated Election – April 1, 2025

On April 1, voters in Illinois will head to the polls to elect local leaders, including school boards, municipal offices, and community college trustees. This is your opportunity to shape the future of your community by voting for candidates who represent your values and priorities.

In District 509, voters will select members of the Elgin Community College Board of Trustees to help guide the vision and direction of ECC.

Who Can Vote?

Please Note: Some people with addresses in Barrington Hills, Carol Stream, Cary, Elburn, Fox River Grove, Hoffman Estates, Huntley, LaFox, Maple Park, Schaumburg, Sycamore, Virgil, and West Chicago are also district residents.

District 509 covers approximately 360 square miles and incorporates the following rural and urban municipalities:

  • Campton Hills*
  • Carpentersville*
  • East Dundee
  • Elgin
  • Gilberts
  • Hampshire
  • Hanover Park*
  • Lake in the Hills*
  • Lily Lake
  • Pingree Grove
  • Plato Center
  • Sleepy Hollow
  • South Elgin
  • St. Charles
  • Streamwood
  • Wasco
  • Wayne
  • West Dundee

*Portions of these communities are not in District 509.

Anyone who is a resident of public school districts U-46, 300, 301, or 303 is a resident of District 509.
